This gathering had more of the Bailey side of the family coming out to celebrate the Fourth with us.

Covid 19 Vacation 2020
Jackie, Chris, Sean and Patrick joined us at the farm from June 28 to July 5. Since we have been quarantining with each other it was a perfect vacation for us all. We did all the usual things and also went for a couple of walks in the creek and fished and kayaked in the pond. The pond was in such bad shape that we didn't catch anything but I think the boys still had fun. The one thing that made Patrick (who turned 3 on July 11) the happiest was to be sitting on the tractor, four wheeler or lawn mower! I think Sean loved setting off his rocket with his dad the best.
Coping with Covid
We started the quarantining in early March and since we had all already been around each other I started watching Sean and Patrick two days a week, when Jackie went back to work. Their pre-school was limiting who could come and then closed for the usual two months in the summer. Ralph has been working from home since then too. We already had plans to buy a new home so we went ahead with that in April. Thanks to a lot of help from the kids we moved ourselves over a couple of months.

Moving Mom/Grandma Alice to St. Louis
Ralph and I drove to Arden, NC to help Alice move to St. Louis as part of our trip in May. She is very happy in her new home!
